Founded by lifelong angler Camm Sutherland, Reef Chief offers professionally guided fishing trips for all experience levels - from first-timers to seasoned fishos.
No two trips are the same. Every charter is planned to fish the conditions, reading tides, currents and bait to decide where to go, what to throw and what will give you the best chance of a bite.
We run small-group charters only. Giving you more room, more casts and one-on-one guidance when you want it. Just focused fishing, local knowledge and time spent where the fish are.

Capt. Dan Moss
With 30+ years on the NSW east coast, Dan is a lure-fishing tragic with a deep obsession for inshore black marlin.
Based in Port Stephens, he’s switched on, salty, and focused on results, not boat rides.
Capt. Pat Calais
With 15+ years fishing Sydney’s waters, Pat has developed a deep understanding of local conditions, seasonal movements and how to consistently target quality fish.
A kingfish specialist and self-confessed snapper nerd, he’s obsessed with refining his approach to put anglers onto better fish.
